Related Offices

President Ray Ivany is responsible for the management of Acadia University and all its departments. To assist in the performance of these duties, the President, with the approval of the Board of Governors, oversees a number of officers.

The offices which report directly to the President include:

Vice-President, Academic

Dr. Tom Herman, Vice-President, Academic administers the academic program (instruction and research) and university services that support the academic program, such as student affairs, libraries, information resources, and institutional planning.

Vice-President, Advancement

Dr. Rod Morrison, Vice-President, Advancement, leads the teams responsible for developing a strong institutional identity to attract students, to maintain a strong connection with alumni, and to build a network of supporters.

Vice-President, Enrolment and Student Services and University Librarian

Sara Lochhead, Vice-President, Enrolment and Student Services and University Librarian, leads the teams responsible for recruitment, admissions, financial aid and scholarships, student services, and the library and Acadia archives.

Vice-President, Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer

Darrell Youden, Vice-President Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for the management of building services, financial policy and systems, safety and security, information technology, varsity athletics, and human resources.
